About Course
Become advanced EASA A2 certificate in 1 day
An excellent supplement to your A1/A3 drone licence
Supplement to your A1/A3 EASA license
In between categories A1 and A3, there is the category for medium size drones which requires the A2 competence certificate. With this drone certificate, you get some privileges that you do not have for the drones in the categories of A1 and A3. Naturally then, the demands for flying with A2 drones are higher. This means that you must have completed practical self-training before you take the supplementary exam to get the A2 competence certificate.
With the A2 competence certificate you are allowed to fly closer to airports, for example. Furthermore, you are allowed to fly closer to people. Thus, the A2 category requires a higher level of practical skills than those implied by the A1/A3 theoretical certificates.
You cannot take the test for the A2 competence level without the A1/A3 theoretical certificate and practical self-training first.
An Important Notice!
Before you apply for the A2 pilot licence, you must first complete the A1/A3 course, get the certificate and register as a drone operator.

Instructor
My name is Alexander Belogaev, I will be your instructor for this exam preparation course and my goal is to get you up in the sky quickly and safely. I am a professional drone pilot and industry expert, and like you, I started with zero knowledge about everything related to aviation.
My journey from zero to hero has been long and challenging, so my main goal in this course is to get rid of the unnecessary and give you the information about the EASA Regulations in a straightforward and clear way.
My approach
There are many ways to pass the EASA exam: from free and short YouTube videos that will give you the bare minimum you need and may be based on information from three years ago, to individual classes costing hundreds of euros. which will give you all the details about drones. My goal in this course is to give you the middle ground.
I give you practical information that you will need as a beginner pilot. In my videos I will tell you what is important and useful to know as a drone pilot. Even if you don’t need this knowledge to pass the exam.
This is a comprehensive course covering everything you need to know to become an experienced remote pilot and pass the EASA exam. This is NOT a review course that teaches you to memorize answers. I do not believe in “just passing the test”. I want you to become an educated drone pilot who can plan and operate safe missions.
The EASA neither certifies schools or drone training courses, nor does it provide actual test questions to schools. Their goal, like mine, is to get you to understand the materials, not to memorize the answers. When my students encounter a question that was not included.in the course, I revise and update my courses to focus more on those areas.

A few steps to YOUR license
Theory study
- Learn the facts that are really important to a drone pilot (e.g., you can’t fly above 120 m).
- Learn the facts that have no relevance to a drone pilot but will be on the test (e.g., how to read the terminal airfield forecast).
- Learn fairly complex concepts that you will definitely need as a future pilot (e.g., how to read airspace maps).
- Wrap your head around it so you are ready to pass the final test.
Assessment
To assess the students’ ability and knowledge to effectively understand the topics contained in the course, the course includes a series of online quiz questions at the end of each module.
In addition, at the end of the course, the students have unlimited attempts to test their knowledge in a final quiz. The 150+ questions will help you to consolidate your knowledge.
The exam
After studying the theory and practicing for the final test, you are ready to take the real exam on the website of the national civil aviation authority.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have training and take the exam independently, without enrolling on this course?
Do you like a difficult path? It is your choice.
Yes, you can independently get all the necessary information by studying the regulations 2019/945 and 2019/947, the theory available on the EASA website, and the national civil aviation authority of the country where you plan to take the exam. It is essential to note that in that case you won’t be able to contact a personal assistant for support in challenging or unclear situations.
For this reason, purchasing the training course might be a preferable option, ensuring you receive a full range of information, explanations, and assistance from experienced professionals.
